Ezine Articles Premium Membership - I wonder Now

I just read the email from Ezine Articles about their buy-in premium membership. It worries me.

I'm not in a position to pay for a premium membership right now, and I'm wondering if those who don't pay for it will now see a lot less benefit from their article marketing.

They say that with premium membership you will get your articles published faster--they'll always go to the front of the line before non-paying members' articles. They also say that they will give you information on what keywords are hot for EA readers at any given time.

Time will tell, but I would sure hate to see this currently free marketing method turn into a marketing method that only pays off if you pay up.

    Hi Tracy,

    The way I see it is you shouldn't worry about it. If people want you to pay when there are thousands of other sites you can work for free, then go there.
    Make the most of now, I say.

      I have to say that though you may be right i still think that the amount of people who are paying is such a small percent to the people who dont pay that it is not that big of a difference.

      I also feel that ezinearticles has done so much for the IM world and article marketing that they deserve to make some money.

      Thats just my thoughts

        I stopped using ezinearticles. They become mad nowadays. Probably they may not be able to manage the amount of articles submitted for review. I use isnare.com to drive traffic. But the quality is not as qualified as the traffic from isanre.

    I submitted an article yesterday at about 1:30 and it got published today at about 2:30. That's fast enough for me. The other benefits of the premium membership are just not worth anywhere close to $97 per month for me.

    EA is not the only article directory. There are tons - and they are equally good at driving traffic. Don't fret about EA. If you can't afford it, so be it. Go elsewhere.

    As far as having your articles published faster on EA, in most cases timing is irrelevant (unless you're trying to promote a launch or something urgent).

    If you write 10 articles this week and submit 2 to EA every day thereafter, eventually you will be ahead of the game but still getting something published every day. Make yourself the challenge to get more articles up for editing before they're done editing your old ones.

    It can make article marketing a little bit fun! The more articles they have to approve, the more anxious they will be to get them done. lol!
