Hey can someone explain to me the post minimums before you can post in any areas. There are some other areas I want to post and it makes me just want to respond to everything so I can get to the limit.

I know it must serve a purpose, just not sure what it is.

The purpose is to keep the posts constructive, helpful to others and to help you build your forum brand.

Don't just reply to anything and everything unless you have a legitimate question/answer on the topic.

Plus... The main purpose (IMO): to keep members around in addition to what I posted first.

      Greg,

You don't say what forums you wanted to post in; but I believe the only sections with post minimums are the JV forum - where the reason is clearly stated: "WARNING: If your first post to our forum is a "Joint Venture" deal it will be deleted. We ask that you try to give some value here first "before" you ask for Joint Ventures." - and the Product Review forum; where, again, the reason for a 20 post minimum is clearly explained; i.e. to deter new members from joining just to post fake reviews.

I don't see any mystery here.

To include links in your post or sig: 15

To be able to PM: 50

Those are the ones I'm aware of.
