What does the new California Online Sales Tax mean for Online Business Owners?
I've been trying to figure out what implications will the online sales tax just signed in California mean to e-business owners in California.
I get it that Amazon now kicked all of us Californian Affiliates to the curve.
But does this mean we need to change our Paypal settings and include a sales tax?
Do we have additional filing requirements to do as business owners?
I noticed that Clickbank handles this automatically depending on which country you are buying a product from.
Accounting definitely isn't my big strength, but would be glad to hear how you guys see it.
(Of course, in no way will I take anything you say seriously. All answers I will see on this thread would be considered pure fantasy )
