Clickbank Product Vendor Question

Hi all, if I place my ebook at Clickbank, will it be automatically listed on the related categories or are there any other conditions to be fulfilled first before it will get listed? Thanks

    As far as I can remember you need to go into your settings and select to list it in the marketplace - it doesn't happen automatically. That is where you will be able to choose the category your product will show up in.

      I think it's sort of part of the procedure either once your product is approved or when you are setting it up for approval. You can also choose not to have it listed. It also drops from the listing if you don't make any sales within a certain amount of time. I think it's 8 weeks, but I think they give you the option of allowing it to remain listed by sending you a notice.

      All of this is off the top of my head since it's been over a year since I listed a product on CB. Their site would be a better place to find out the specifics.

    Paying for the listing will not guarantee the product approval and you can pay before or after. What you should keep in mind is that choosing the right category might make the difference between getting sales or not so carefully choose the best category and sub category for your product. Just look at similar products on the marketplace. CB have the option to change the category even after the product is already listed on their marketplace.

    To my knowledge, I think CB will list your product on their marketplace even before making a sale for a certain amount of time until they will take it off, so it's better to have a promotion plan in place, having good alexa rank and traffic coming to your site and not just to list a product, these among others, are things affiliates are checking before taking a decision to promote a product or not.
