Let's say quality, keyword research and SEO are near perfect - taking them out of the equation - how many articles do you need per niche before you start seeing $1000 per month? I have 14 articles live since last week. I have made one sale for $18.00 and 194 HOPS. I am sitting here writing articles, working 5 hours a day on his wondering if it is worth it. Please give me a goal, or guidance, or comfort or something. I just dont want to give up. |

I have been writing and submitting articles for years. If you're going to rely solely on articles, it's going to take a while. It's impossible to say how many you will need because there are just too many factors involved such as... 1. The niche 2. The competition 3. The quality of the article 4. The quality of the resource box 5. The keywords you target 6. The quality of the landing page you send people to. 7. The price of the product 8. How well the sales page converts I may have left out something. Not sure. It's late and I'm beat. Point is, nobody can give you an answer to your question because there are just too many variables involved. I have thousands of articles online and they account for about, well, let's just say a good portion of my income. But it took me years to get to that point. Article marketing is NOT a quick fix. Emphasis on the word NOT. |

I've got ten articles going to one website, all posted in August, and that website made well over $300 in the last 30 days. Prior to that it was making approx $100 a month. BTW, Dennis, how is your article marketing test going? |

Just like steven says, there are too many variables involved. However, the first step is to write quality articles that pull visitors to your site. The more quality articles you write the more money you will make.

What I've done from DAY 1 was building my online business (I mean building my list). I didn't just submit articles to get a commission. You can start with Squidoo and Hubpages, but you WANT to collect leads, because your income will grow. More articles, more leads, more more sales. Steven said it best. Lots of factors. Franck. |

You want to write 300-700 word articles. Submit to every place you can find on the internet. You want the articles to be search engine optimization friendly so that Google can pick them up. Your articles will go viral once your keywords are picked up through a Google search. After Google picks the articles up you can sit back and wait and you shall see unbelievable results. You will see this huge viral thing and it keeps on growing and growing month after month. Because more people will see it. Your main focus is to get your articles SEO friendly and submit them to article directories. You can start with ten articles and submit to about 20 article ezines or directories. Choose your keywords for your target niche and place them into your article. this is vital information to the success of your internet marketing and list building.
