What Style/Genre of Royalty-Free Music Do You Need?

Hey Fellow Warriors,

I'm composing and recording more royalty-free music for folks to use as background music for videos, podcast intros and outros, etc. But I thought I'd check with folks who use this music what styles or genres you'd like to use for your own content.

Here are a few examples of styles:

- Hip-Hop/Urban
- Movie Action/Adventure
- Slow, soft and mellow
- Acoustic pop
- Pop Rock
- Emo/Pop-Punk
- Jazzy
- Bluesy

Or any others you can think of that I may have left out. Maybe all of the above? Or you don't really care.

I'm happy for any feedback on this.

Thanks!

Ken

  • I use New Age, Rock Instrumental and Pop/Top 40 mostly. I don't like music that is too dreamy and reflective, though, when it comes to selling.
