The best thing to do is lurk around here for a while and absorb the info. A lot of newbies have success with article marketing promoting clickbank products or finding ways to leverage the ebay partner network.

Keep in mind that it is not easy. It takes a lot of hard work, but your dedication can soon pay off if you are able to formulate a solid plan of attack and stick to it. Probably the biggest distraction for me when I started out was simply the overload of information. Dont bother with trying out every single method... find one that sounds like a good fit, try it, test it, and perfect it.

I agree here. With just starting out, it is very easy to get caught up in buying everything you come across and having 10 different business ventures going at once.

I started in the beginning with Affiliate Marketing and then website/blog flipping (mainly using public domain information). Maybe do a search in the Warrior Forum for these topics and start from there. Both of these methods now produce me several thousand dollars a month.

I have also just started a personal blog where I will be going through my experiences and teaching what I have learned over the years. Maybe it will help you some also.

I wish you all the best.

Check out the 30 day challenge, it's designed for newbies to get started. Here's the link:

        Thirty Day Challenge

The course is free and should give you a good starting point.

Be careful about lurking around here, there is so much information on this forum that it's easy to get overwhelmed and not know how to get started.

There's also a really good WSO running at the moment called Internet Marketers Bootcamp, it's run by a warrior here and the course is first rate.

Be careful with the WSO's, as they can be addictive and lead to some serious spending (don't ask me how I know this).

Also make sure you use the search function, it will be your best friend when it comes to finding answers to your questions.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, or if I can be of any help.

    Start with the basics.

FYI: 98% of all successful people on the net are...

    Affiliate marketers.

They are not trying to promote "how to make money" stuff.

They follow a very basic formula which is...

    - pick a niche
    - pick products for the people of the niche
    - slap up a landing/warmup page
    - get visitors to that landing page
    - determine what happened and should you move forward.

    Remember, mlm sucks out loud.

Affiliate marketers meaning they pick a niche and choose a product to sell?

and then publish PLR articles related to their niche to gain traffic?

        Yes.

Well, you're half right - you write quality unique articles and submit them to article directories such as ezinearticles.com for approval. They allow you what's called a resource box where you can link to your page, as long as it's not an affiliate link. You do NOT want to submit PLR to these places - they tend to frown on that.
