A Business Worth Crying For
Here today and gone tomorrow product launches are becoming the rule rather than the exception.
It seems there's no, or little, permanence in this field for most people. This is a way to pay the electric bill or provide "Diet Coke" money.
Customer service is sorely lacking - we frequently hear people say I don't have all day to answer emails for a $17 product - buy, bookmark, or LEAVE.
Names, phone numbers, addresses, are hard to verify.
For many there is no passion - this isn't a dream business - making money is perhaps but not doing it this way. How many dreamed about sending emails about how to make money books when they were children?
There isn't a lot of time invested in training or getting experience for most people. A dentist has years of training - but Joe can start his guruship in 32 minutes on a Saturday while on the beach.
My question is does anyone here have a business worth crying for (or grieving over for you real men) if it failed? Do you have something that would HURT if you lost it?
Does that type of business appeal to anyone or are most just interested in a little money on the side?
