Hi Affiliate Marketers, Do you advice promoting 2 affiliate products on a site?
Even though if both affiliate products are on same niche. how good is this?

    Yes.

    I always start niche sites off with one product (because you have to get going somehow?), but I've always chosen the niche as being one that has other products available, to be added once I'm up and running.

    It's been very good, to me. "The second product" is something like 5% more work for 35% more sales, overall.

    I'm doing "niche sites", not "product sites" and this is always part of my plans.

    For me, one of the great attractions of being an affiliate (rather than a vendor) is the ability to add/remove/switch products, and build a genuine asset-based business without it being dependent on the success and continuity of individual, specific products.

    It also helps, when you're building a list, to "have other products to offer them". One should have a sales funnel/process, and can gradually sell higher-priced products to the same audience.

    Back in the day the big thing to do was create a multi product review site. Now these are a thing of the past but can still be used for testing purposes. If you enter a new niche try to test out a few products to see which one converts the best. Then stick with that product and built off of it.

      Yeah, giving options of different products in your niche and contrasting and comparing them, explaining what type of people will get more benefit from one over the other depending on their specific goals, should work well.

      Another idea if promoting multiple products might be to create some kind of free bonus that you could offer readers if they buy any of the products in that niche from your affiliate link. So no matter what product they go for you will have a bonus that applies to them all so they can purchase via a link on your site.

      One way I've promoted multiple products in the same niche is to break things down into different groups.

      For example, you might break things into beginner, intermediate and expert, with a different product for each level.

      Budget, medium and deluxe is another breakdown I've used successfully. Recommend products by price point, highlighting what extra benefits buyers get as they move up the price ladder.

      Of course, there's always the classic "good, better, best", but that one has been flogged and splogged a bit in some niches. Somehow, the "best" option seems to be the one with the highest commission rather than the one with the best return for the buyer.

    I think it is always best to have multiple products of the same niche on one site.

    First of all, it is a way of diversifying your income base - Multiple Streams of Income.

    Secondly, it minimizes your cost as against maintaining different sites for different products of the same niche. All your advertising for that niche can be focused on just that one site. All SEO efforts(on page and off page) can also be focused on that one site.

    It also offers options to the visitor who can pick and choose unlike if only one product was available. It thus increases your chance of making a sale from any of the products.
