What is the best 2015 article on ranking on Google

I have been reading through some stuff on Search Engine Watch and there is some usefull stuff on there, but what is the consensus view about what might be the best article in regards to getting to the top (or close to the top) on Google?

Secondly, can someone please forward me to an article about all the different ways (not just search) I can boost traffic to my sites as of 2015.

    Hey Anton,

    A guy named Matthew Woodward used a NO SEO experiment, and built his blog up to 60,000 visitors per month. The point of this example is that Google's ranking criteria is mostly common sense.

    Even if you can find a sly method to trick Google into ranking your site, there's no guarantees that it will work tomorrow, or the day after that.

    The best way to future proof your site's success is to create a "value-driven" site. Have visitors actually want to stay there, and may even share some things
