how do you pay paypal without creating an account?

Hi -

I want to send a payment to someone that has paypal (I am using a credit card), however it seems every single screen has a 'create paypal account' (and I simply don't trust paypal, especially because of that).

How do I make a payment without have to make an account?

thanks!

Unless it is a recurring charge product... ie: membership with a monthly payment, most have a link below to pay without signing up. Look it over real close.

It's called the "Guest Checkout" option and it's usually right below the area where you would "sign in" to your PayPal account to pay. For those that don't have a PayPal account or don't wish to use it, they can use the guest checkout option and pay with a credit or debit card.

    Best,
    Shane

this is off topic but I love the way you have done your signature

but yeah in regards to paypal, yes if you look at each check out page before buying should be a way to pay without registering, paypal make it harder to find for obvious reasons if ya get what i mean

  • Ok,

    1. Could someone send me a screenshot? It's not a recurring product (just a one time payment), and I've tried doing the paypal->send money->friends & family->enter both e-mail addresses, but then when I get to the final page, it tells me I need to create an account.

Here is a screenshot. I've also tried using this link: https://www.paypal.com/webscr?cmd=_x...email@here.com

but *still* asks me to create an account...

The receiver is going to have to have a Premier or Business PayPal account with the option to receive payments without the sender having to have a PayPal account turned on.

Ah, ok I see. so that means then if she doesn't have that, that there is no way I can make a payment to her?

      Thanks,

Yup there is no way to send payment to another person if he/she doesn't have any account.
