Ethical Internet Marketing Tips & Guidelines

I believe there are too many Internet Marketing beginners that are being lied to and shown to do black hat and unethical marketing strategies by WSO's and other black hat forums. I know for myself I've seen and purchase some WSO's that mention some pretty low and unethical strategies (I'm not saying all WSO's).

I believe that there should be guidelines for newcomers and even advance users alike that show what is ethical and what is not. So I'm curious to know what other warriors think to be ethical and what not to be.

I'll start off by saying:

It's unethical to force a user to provide an email address for your list after already making a purchase. (Major Pet Peeve)

It is ethical to have a download page + squeeze page that allows the customer to download what they have rightfully purchased and as a token of appreciation provide an email address at the bottom.

    Here's my peeve

It is unethical to use someone else's brand name/business name to gain credibility for your website/product.

Remember the 'Google Home Affiliate' scam? I wish Google would stamp all over these shucksters!

We just had a long thread on this exact subject a few days ago.

I don't know if we need yet another thread full of everyone bitching about their pet peeves, and arguing over whether certain things are ethical or not.

There's stuff that's so obviously unethical that it doesn't need to be discussed. And the stuff that people want to argue about, they'll argue about forever.
