I noticed a lot of presentations have a 'click and zoom' effect and was wondering if anyone could recommend how i can do this?

An example is here

You can do that with a program called Camtasia. You can get the free trial version here. It's pretty simple to learn, there's a lot of other effects as well as editing features.

Camtasia uses 'SmartFocus' which automatically zooms in/out at appropriate times. You can edit this though or even turn the feature off. Most of the 'click to zoom' effects you see are actually edited after recording. But it's simple with the program, just takes a few seconds.

A free version is CamStudio but it doesn't nearly compare in features. And as far as I know it doesn't have zooming effects. You can download it here. You could always apply zooming effects with another program, even Windows Movie Maker will do this.

    Hope this helps!
