WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF..?

no, no no, I am not singing the song you as it sounds

Here is the real life situation of mine.
Currently out of job with just about 300 pounds left in hand.

I know about ebook and amazon business,
A good knowledge of affiliate marketing, even with a good keword phrase domain said to be profitable if I did it right.
Yes, I could equally use it to run affect local businesses and outsource the job for now.

Not too sure, where to put my feet. If you are me in this, what would you do?

I want to get on something that after at least 30 days , I am seeing result, else I am gonna starve.

Thanks

The best advice I can give you is to avoid desperation. "Get results in 30 days or starve" is pretty desperate.

Performers of various stripes have used the "I'm not really a waiter/waitress" model for years. They take a job that pays the rent and puts food on the table, and that they can easily walk away from, while they pursue their major goal.

Go to just about any restaurant in LA, New York, Nashville, etc. and you'll be amazed that they don't have wait staff. But a bunch of writers, singers, actors and producers decided to make cooking and delivering food and washing dishes their hobby...

I agree with John on this one. Get a job, that will keep your rent, food and bills paid and maybe even makes you enough money to invest in your IM business as well.

If you take daily actions towards your goals in IM in your spare time, think of what you can accomplish in a year.

I've worked in a couple of call centers in the past, and most of the people working there are in situations similar to the ones mentioned in the reply above. They are there to get their bills paid while dedicating their spare time to their true goals.

Make some cash on Fiverr. Re-Invest in PPC and Facebook Ads.

I think working part-time while you work on the internet business can be a way to have some income while you develop it. It is hard to predict what will give you security after 30 days as if you are doing affiliate marketing or selling ebooks, a lot depends on your keywords and rankings. These can be unstable and change with updates. Providing a service where you are paid for the tasks you perform can be a way to guarantee some income and you can set the price per task online.

If you want to make sure money online, you could start out by freelancing and doing simple tasks for other people doing internet marketing. Answer a craigslist ad or something like that. That way, you can work from home and devote some time to earning money dollars-for-hours, and some time building your own business on the side.

You have to work smart, not desperate. If your online business hasn't gotten off the ground yet, how can you bank on that paying your bills? You can't. Find some in between work. Donate plasma, participate in a paid medical study, anything like that to hold you over while you set up. You need to be sure that you are putting the right kind of time and effort into your business. Working out of desperation is just going to lead to sloppy work that won't sell.

      Two things need to happen

      1)
      Find a job
      Pay your bill

      2) Figure out what's your passion
Listen and read free business resources
U need to create your content
      before you drive traffic
or have an opt in box

1 and 2 is to be simultaneously
Freedom is to be gained via hardship

      Things that really don't do
      Don't join millions of programs
You might only need one program
      Don't buy millions of products
Owing the products doesn't make you money, only if it is applicable
Don't just think about what to do

Get start doing it, and figure out a long the way by researching, and asking question

And if you do have a mentor down the road. Don't expect to be spoonfeed, ask question, take ownership for your own destiny.

Now try to us ALL FREE resources
      instead of aweber, use icontact
but u do need your own domain name
AND do do keyword domain search wisely
at least 40,000 search using google keyword tool (which is free tool)
install alexa toolbar (which is free tool)
use Nvu (free) if you only need a html webpage.
If not install a free wordpress blog ON your own domain
You can use free hosting from Free Web Hosting - Linux, PHP, MySQL, No Ads/Banners by FreeHostia.
but would highly recommended to have paid hosting
      Get a free ftp client
And a free graphic editing program that do vector and pixel graphic and can edit photos, too
Utilize your Power Point software to help u to create good presentation

30 day target doesn't sound very healthy to me mate. I'm sorry - but you gotta give it a little more time. And as the first two fellas said, you should get a temporary job and work on internet marketing side by side.

Firstly, I think you should find a niche you're interested in then do some research to see what is high in demand and has low competition, thats where you can scope in and make sales of your own. But this is something time consuming and will require you sticking to the drawing board for many hours.

I just have to echo what others have said, speaking from personal experience, desperation can sidetrack you very easily. That sense of fear and panic can cloud your mind. You have to make sure the bills are paid and you have food on the table. Once you don't have to worry about this, your mind is clearer to make wise decisions and focus on building a business. Unfortunately, this might mean doing a job that you don't necessarily want to do. We would all like to work when and how we want to, but it's going to take a bit of time for you to get there. There are so many ways to approach IM that you'll need to look into it a bit more to see what might be a good fit. Once you do, stick with it for awhile and don't change direction unless you're certain you've tried everything within that particular method.

    Best of luck,
    Mary

You didn't say what your skills were or what the employment situation is there. What kind of equipment do you have? I heard about someone going around to local businesses with their digital camera and offering professional photos for their facebook/twitter/website. Someone else suggested if the business didn't have those, extra opportunity to earn more by offering to help them set it up/maintain.
If you have a laptop, digital camera and some photo editing software such as Photoshop, you could be a walking business.
My husband and I both lost our jobs back in 2009, we live in the country and jobs are in very short supply. I have been going to school since last may and we have been surviving on student loans/pell grants and his unemployment.
I have several domains I am playing with atm, plus carrying 15 credit hours in the summer, otherwise I would be out there doing just that.
I was thinking find out when the local better business bureau holds their monthly meeting, get yourself some business cards (you can buy the card stock at the local office supply and templates in Microsoft office/open office and creat your own. Show up at the meetings with your camera and network.
Many people dress up more for the meetings than at their businesses, so more opportunities for instant business. You might even look at buying a large lot of closeout thumb drives, you can send them on their way with the pictures on the drive (and your business card encase they need more or help later), email them or create a membership site and store the pictures for them.
