Looks good but you may want to consider putting up an https url as I get "This webpage is not available" because I (and possibly others) use Facebook with the https default?

To get https you need a dedicated ip - $2/month from Hostgator and a certificate.
Namecheap is running a contest https://www.facebook.com/NameCheap?s...41044522626772. If they reach their goal of 5000 FB Likes, you can get a new domain for $1.99 plus you'll also get a free Whoisguard and a free SSL certificate. Don't know if they'll make it but you can use that certificate with your dedicated ip. Once you have both of those, check your FB app setup and go to Facebook Integration>Secure Canvas URL
Put your https url in there.

Personally, I found it a bit "wordy". Too much writing without a clear call to action.

My suggestions - 1st - I'd ask them to like you, or even make a reveal code that requires it.

Second, explain the purpose in larger test up front, and give the rest of this info after they've opted in.

Third - get them to opt-in. Offer the "ethical bribe" to get an email address.

You have to either get a like or an email to follow up with them.

I see your mail chimp subscribe form, but that page doesn't show what they're subscribing for.

You need to tie it together. Maybe a 30 second video showing them around quickly, asking them to optin to get a free trial or something...

I'd hold off asking them to go pro before they've seen the site and what you have to offer them.

All just my 2 cents worth - hope you take it constructively as it was meant to be.

I've built around 100 fanpages for clients - if you need help, let me know.

First, it took a while for the page to load - I actually came back here to comment that it just showed up blank for me. I don't know the ins and outs of facebook pages, but I'm guessing maybe it's because you used an image? It does show up a bit blurry at the top, so it looks like an image even if it isn't.

In terms of actual content, your headline doesn't do much to pull me in. Rhetorical questions tend to have the opposite effect than you intend them to. "Wondering what Your LocalProject is?" "No, not really, and why should I care?"

I'd tighten your target market. "We love working with people that are looking for an intranet solution" is a really broad range of people, and the previous mention of schools, sports teams or niche communities makes me think you're focusing in on smaller groups. If so, I'd leave businesses out of it entirely and hype up your user friendliness, easy interface, etc, since those communities are less web savvy than most.

Reading through, I'm also confused as to whether you're offering free accounts or pro accounts. With that customer demographic, I'd go with free (or a free trial) and save the pitch to go Pro until after they've tried out the service and enjoyed it.

      Hope that helps!

I have redesigned the landing page per BubbaJay suggestion to have a call to action page to get the user to 'like' our page. I am working to simplify the page the users views after they like the page.

I agree with some of the other posters in that it seemed to take forever to load. In addition, I saw no real benefit to liking the page. I am not completely sure that I agree with the whole "reveal script" idea. If you want me to like the page, you have to give me some reason to want to do so.

    Just my 2cents
