How Do I Successfully Launch A Clickbank Product?

I am in the process of creating one of my first Clickbank products and I am almost done. I would like to know exactly what needs to be done in order to have a successful launch of the product. What is the absolute best way to get your product out there?

From my own point of view...sign in to clickbank as a merchant and go through the form. Everything they want of you is there. If you miss anything out, they will let you know and tell you to fix it.

There is no single best way. When you say best way, do you mean to get affiliates? Best way to get sales? Already, you see two different best.

What the product is, the niche really determines the best way. There are tons of courses out there teaching people "Guide To Riches -- Product Launch Success"

Your pitch page is the most important thing, well maybe the second most important. A crappy one will get you no were with a lot of traffic but no traffic will get you even less. So perhaps traffic is the most important but get too much traffic for a bad pitch page and you've got a ton of expense and no income.

I actually posted my first version of my first pitch page on a forum and asked for help. It was so bad that I actually got quite a bit of help. My first pitch page converts at better than 1:40 from targeted traffic and it was the first time I ever did it. I can't take credit, people helped me display it better, then I learned to make it scannable and then I learned to sell benefits and not what was in it as much.

Video will increase conversions, if that is what you mean by best way.

If it is an IM product and you launch it as a WSO and it is any good, you'll get a ton of eager affiliates.

    Some suggestions.

I have also been recently researching best ways to launch a product in general.

Quickest way probably would be to get some affiliates with big lists in your niche onboard to promote it for you.

Developing relationships with affiliates on here and maybe sending out some solo-ads to IM based lists to try and get some affiliates on board is a possibility.

Could also do your own small solo-ads to test conversions first to get some sort of stats to approach potential affiliates with.

I read alot about how you need to build a really impressive affiliates section containing autoresponder sequences, articles, banner graphics and the like. But I am not convinced by that.

As surely the sort of affiliates you want on board (that have big lists and excellent relationships with their readers), will want to present the product to their list in their own way and not using some pre-written sales emails in an affiliate area?

EXACTLY. My only question is how do you contact these folks? I've emailes 5 diff guys who have a top 20 CB product but none ever replied.

Should you totally complete your sales page and let it sit on CB and let affiliates seek out out on their own or is it best to email them prior to designing your sales page to let them know it's going to be a huge product?

I don't mind paying a kings ransom for sales copy but if I do I want a handful of the top folks to be my affiliates.

Some of these guys simply will not answer. For the most part a top 10 marketer wants a comparable list in size. If he has 50k, he wants to deal with people that have similar sized lists. Also, if i were you, I would contact all of them, not just 5, I'd contact 10 times that until I created a decent amount of interested people to work with.

It's not what you know, it's who you know.

Good point on contacting more people but how would the size of my list affect my affiliates interest level? It certainly won't affect what they earn.

I will offer a 75% commission & they only get paid when folks buy from their affiliate link. ( which they will mail out to their list)

Maybe launch a product that YOU would genuinely want to buy if you were not the individual who launched it.

    You really need to do:
    1. gather many JVs, make them know that you will deliver the best product you can
    2. make the JVs notify their list before lauching (prelaunch phase)
    3. give them enough commission and hopefully prizes and lil competition
    4. do some test about your sales page and give them the conversion rate (hopefully high conversion rate)
    5. moreover, I think the product itself has to be very unique, so it's not going to be 'me too' product

    That's it I think

If you have a list - then you need to interact with them, to gain feedback, testimonials and raise awareness about your product. Ive done this numerous times and had great success.

If you dont have a list, then you gotta do it the hard way. Just like the rest of us.

Umm- if it's not in the IM niche then you don't need a "launch". Do your best to get ranked in google for your keywords, write and submit high quality articles to a bunch of directories, create informative videos and put them on youtube and other video sites and in each video promote a free report they can get at your site- then your autoresponder will sell each prospect over the course of 7-10 emails.

If you look at the Truth About Abs program, he had the product done and for sale for a few years before he ever "figured out the marketing", as he put it. So get the product done, get it up and ready to go on clickbank, then just work different marketing avenues to bring traffic to your site.

If you are launching an IM product, then you will need to contact the guys at JVNotifyPro. And in case you are selling non-IM product, then your best bet is to contact every webmaster in your niche for JV proposal. Good luck.

In order to get successful with this first you need to focus on your target niche market where you can easily get more potential customers. And it is also advisable to create your own website to promote your sales and products online.

The short answer is that you should be networking with affiliates and getting them ready to start pushing your product on launch day. That's not always feasible for a first launch.

Other than that your question is super-vague. You should break it down a bit more and figure it out from there.

Let me ask it this way:

If I launch an info product and sign up on CB and let it sit there can I expect anyone to pick it up as an affiliate considering I spend a kings ransom on copywriting & am selling a very effective product w/ tons of social proof?
