Do all WSO require you to invest money in traffic

I understand that you pay for the product/ebook/video whatever they are selling.

But once you buy that product is that it ?

I'm thinking of buying some products.. but i dont want to get them and find out half way through that i need to spend $100/day/week/month to get visitors to my site.

Yes this might make you x10 the amount you spend but some people can't afford to risk that.

You have to be willing to invest in your business ...

I just bumped my thread in the Warriors For Hire section ... so I'll get somewhere between 4-7 leads ...

Converting even one would be worth while.

I imagine with cheaper services there's even more inquiries as simply the demographics are larger ...

My point being - if you have a quality service or product, with a good copy that converts why would you hesitate to buy and send targeted traffic to that page?

not all WSO's are website based, but if you're selling a product, if you have nobody to sell it to, who's going to buy it?

Monetizing traffic is probably the easiest way of making money, especially if its targeted.

Very good point. It does take money to make money. You just have to be on the plus side of the transaction.

    They vary, David.

Some require no (or almost no) further expenditure at all; others require quite a bit.

It's entirely legitimate and reasonable (and potentially helpful to others) to make a post in a WSO thread asking the vendor roughly what further expenses are entailed in following the method taught. But have a good read through the thread first, to make sure it isn't already asked.

David isn't asking about sending traffic to WSO's - that's a different question altogether. He's a potential WSO customer, not a seller. The clue is in the words "once you buy that WSO".

Sorry for this question. But I am new.

When people are saying "Products" and "Services" do they mean other peoples products ?

I myself do not have a product. I want to sell others and make money.

Also when people are saying thing like make $1000/day using my trusted ways etc... I take it they are showing you a way to promote you site and products.

So in my case I would be using that for my niche site ?

So let me get this straight, you want to start a business that cost you nothing to build, and you want someone to teach you how to make money for nothing? You also want to get people to your website without spending any money at all on moving eyeballs to your pages.

"Norton, I tell you, we're gonna be rich," says another Ralph Cramden.

My first advice to you would be go to the library, and read Michael Gerber's book "The E-Myth," while you are at the library read Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," "The Cashflow Quadrant," and "Rich Dad's Guide to Investing," then read James Collins and Jerry Porras "Built to Last." You can do that for free at the library. After you have completed Business 101, then start to learn more about Internet marketing here for free, but until you realize there is no such thing as wealth without risk you are doomed to failure.

Sorry.. I had a feeling this was looking bad the way i worded it. I dont mind invesiting money in my sites. But i wanted to know is. Was there always a hidden traffic charge in the WSO's.

The question can't be answered because:

        1. Not all WSOs involve sites and traffic
        2. No one knows what's in a WSO until they buy it and they aren't really even
allowed to divulge the info that is in one to the public after they buy it.

You'll just have to ask that specific question on the thread of the WSO in question:

"After I have paid the $12 will I have to spend anything extra, on an autoresponder or backlinks for example"

Most WSO sellers will answer this with no problem.

Just on a side note might help this post.

I'm in the middle of making this site

    doggroomingireland.info

I intend on having a full list of dog groomers in ireland.

Then i will also have the following

    1) A link to a click bank dog grooming pack - like a DIY dog groomers

    2) A link to a click bank dog training pack

    3) A amazon affilate store selling Pet supplies and Groomer supplies

Am i in the right from of mind ?

I understand that Ireland is a small market compared to the rest of the world. But i have to start somewhere.

Site is not ready yet tho.

There is a ton of evidence to suggest that a .info domain will not rank as well as a .com , .net or .org so I would change that. If you can not get an exact match domain add a modifyer: doggroomingirelandHQ.com for example or an .ie domain should work well.

Also, I get the feeling you didn't look too closely at your keyword choices. There are very little searches for 'dog grooming ireland' and in fact there are more searches for 'dog grooming courses ireland' which would be easier to rank. You absolutely must look at the 'exact match' numbers in the nkwd tool.

Did you think that 'dog grooming ireland' would be better because of the option to sell affiliate products? That would make sense but my experience says that most people searching would probably be looking to hire someone or find a local place. Just a hunch. So I believe adsense would be the most likely income stream on this site if you go down that road.

      Now . . .

Just for fun I had a look at what kwd I would take on if this was my niche. Believe it or not, I'm pretty sure that you could rank a well optimised wordpress site for the phrase 'dog grooming equiptment' within a few weeks if you did some heavy backlinking. And that's in the USA too.

Should make a fair few more sales from that!

      Hi David,
I just would like to give you some Tip about what you can do. NOT to expensive ether.

I just bought an interesting WSO that would be interesting for you.
None of these products are my own and I will not get any commission ether. Check this out.
[WICKED SIMPLE CASH] My $100 GUARANTEE! I Will Send You A CRISP $100 Bill...

      1. Use this technique (it will work for any Niches) to get subscribers via an Opt-In Box on your WordPress site at the (right side). WSO $9
      2. Use AWeber as an Auto responder to keep in touch with your prospects. AWeber $19/ month up to 500 subscribers.

      How to:
Start list building is key to a successful long-term IM-business. Chose a specific subject within a Niche, write a report or use a PLR report and rewrite it, make it unique and specific.
In these days specifically in the IM Niche you have to give your customers something with value. Give the report for free AFTER they have opted in on your site via an Opt-In Box where they are asked to give their email address in exchange of a free valuable report. They are then directed to your auto responder (AWeber or some other) where you have some prewritten emails to send out with a download link. Then build confidence with your list by using the auto responder to keep in touch with your prospects by sending them emails regularly with tips on certain items. Also understand that it’s NOT a good idea to sell/promote products in all these mails. But once a month include a link to a money-site with your product or an Affiliate product.

Seconded. I bought this myself, and it's awesome enough that I promoted it to my list AND recommended it with a bare non-affiliate link in another thread. Seriously great WSO.

I would start by reading some of things mentioned within this forum (there are many nuggets here). The best way is to get your feet off the ground and start something. Don't listen to everything people say, but rather do your own thing and make it unique. You will eventually find your niche.

There are many free ways to get traffic, while at the same time money does help to speed up the process. Just remember, free methods generally take a bit longer and require a bit more work than paid methods to. Hope this helps.

Just to expand on this point a bit further - getting a decent amount of traffic without any investment will require alot of time and effort, such as writing articles/content, blog commenting, making videos etc and other manual link building techniques. Obviously this becomes more time consuming with multiple sites. It may be wise to try generating traffic without spending any money and at the same time getting a feel for what you need to do and seeing if there are any results.

Then going on to automate the traffic generation through software, services and outsourcing and this is where it starts becoming more like a business. So it is likely if a WSO requires you to generate traffic for what ever strategy it is implementing - that you would require to invest in traffic.

Depends on the product. Some products are geared toward using 100% free tools and services, others are loaded up with affiliate links, and still others just assume you have or can run out and buy $2,000 worth of software.

Read the sales copy. The ones that are using 100% free methods usually make a point of telling you.

I've told you in your other thread: stay away from any WSO (any any product in general) that makes promises to earn $XXXX amount!

At least until you become a bit more familiar with this forum and you'll realize whom to trust.

I've posted this repeatedly: I buy only tools - software, plugins, scripts that make the life easier. Never "systems".

Almost every step involved in making money online has been discussed and outlined in different threads in this forum; and you can read it for free

Also, if you really are in "spending mood" - invest in the War Room membership (one time $37): there are so many gems in there that you don't have that much time to get them all...

      Hi David,

This is actually the "key advice", from Istvan, just above: stay away from IM advice offers that make specific income promises: that representation about the product is misleading; and if that one is, others may be, too.

Definitely invest in the War Room. That is the best money I've ever spent on my business. Go easy on the WSOs because they can become addicting. I think I need to start a WSO anonymous group. "Hi, I'm DeAnna and I'm addicted to WSOs." When you start buying WSOs don't buy one unless you know exactly how you are going to implement whatever is being taught. Also don't buy one until you have implemented the last one you bought. Set up a folder on your computer or flash drive dedicated to WSOs so you don't wind up buying the same one twice. Hmm. Maybe I could do a WSO about organizing your WSOs...I bet that's already been done. Anyway, just my two cents about WSOs. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Yes, free methods of traffic DO work, they just take more time and effort to build up. I'm putting in my vouch for "Wicked Simple Cash", especially if you can't spend much right now. That's the best "starter WSO" I've seen so far, (and, dang it, I've looked at far too many of 'em!) It's newbie-friendly, everything is thoroughly explained. It turned out to be the best way for me to not get distracted away from my goals. Oh yeah, set goals for each day you sit down at the computer, and that will keep you from veering off onto multiple products too.
