Hey folks, quick question for all you WSO Pro users.. is it possible to do one time offers with it, or do you know a work around?

Thanks for your help

I don't believe there is an actual feature for this in WSO Pro - I may be wrong but I don't think so. You will have to set things up manually. When a customer purchases and is taken to your thankyou/download page you then offer them an additional product. The payment for that product would be collected by you through an external payment source such as Paypal.

Just be careful when placing the OTO before the customer gets to the thankyou/download page. You should always have a link down the bottom so the customer can bypass the OTO and access their original purchase if they choose to. Paypal don't like it when additional steps are added in between.

Thanks Will. I misunderstood the OP's question. I thought he wanted to know if it was 'permitted' to do an upsell.

No, there isn't, but there's an established way to do it. People use two WSO Pro offers for this. Both are attached to the same thread. When you click the "buy" button on the thread, it actually leads to a web page (on your own hosting) where there is a "Yes I Would Like The OTO" button with the OTO buy link, and a "No I Am Just A Loser" button with the main product buy link.

I didn't know you could use his WSO Pro buttons on external sites? I would have thought this throws off his stats since it is the buttons he uses to get number of visitors, etc.

Sounds like a better way to do it though.

The only problem I see with using this method is a lot of times the OTO will be something that makes using the original product easier. So I wouldn't want customers to see that until AFTER they had purchased the original product - otherwise you run the risk of turning them off the original product when they see another tool is needed.

You know, if I were sneaky like that...

It could throw off his stats, yes, but chances are you'd like your stats to be accurate so you won't abuse this setup.

In that case, you'd use the OTO page as your specified download page under the first WSO Pro licence.
