The Money/Internet Business Niche on ClickBank

I would like to hear your experiences in that niche, mainly using PPC to drive traffic.

Yesterday i was researching products on CB related to "home internet business" and similar....reason is that many "expensive" products on CB are related to this, and according to stats the products also have ok refund rate.

(I was looking for product which pay more than $120)

So...the KW for this niche are all in the area of internet business, make money online, easy money...and RELATIVELY expensive.

I wonder if i should let this run a while or whether this niche is just too hard since i can get way cheaper clicks, but then with some "cheaper" products, eg. health niche.

The reason is that i see on avg 50-100 clicks/sale...and its not worth to sell a $20 product...so i need high value products from clickbank.

    I have had some sales but never made long term income on it just because of way too many refunds. Yes, keywords are some what expensive but if you can act a bit sneaky you can always get cheap clicks out of the content network and make a heavy profit out of it.

        I totally agree with you...And in fact just by tweaking your campaigns a bit and using placement targeting you can easily make a fortune.

    Hi GeorgR,

    From my own expireince I can tell you that this niche is the most saturated one and It will be really difficult for you to get in. I have also used PPC to drive traffic and the conversation was the following 1:23 - 1:67 ( in that range ). I have spent more on advertising than I actually made. I even dont get my ROI. Be carrefull. I would suggest you to research alot about it before you start.

    The content network would be good for this. Also, site placement would be good too as you can pick the sites where the ads will show. Also, you may want to look into localizing your keywords to cities and states to make your keywords more longtail. You will lose your budget quick with "make money online" and those types of keywords

    thanks for input. Interesting that you guys praise the content network that much. I am not an adwords newb, the ones i have on content i have VERY low bids, maybe i should move those out from search and put on content and bid like $0.10 or so.

    But...on the bright side..i found a VERY, VERY good other niche. I might scrap that "make money" stuff again.

    i moved the "money making" stuff to content now, content only. I have two campaigns, one for search (content OFF) and one for content (search off)..bidding $0.07 on those now.
