What mean 'between' and 'exactly between' in Facebook Ads

I'm trying to create a Facebook Ad that targeted certain range of age.

Here what 'between' look like (click to enlarge)

and here what 'exactly between' look like (click to enlarge)

I think, it doesn't matter before this, but looking at the difference the figure is, it's HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Anyone has experience on this?

UPDATE : sorry for the huge image.

    it basically means this:

when 'require exact match' is unchecked it means it will include anyone who is also 22 and 28 (in your example), i.e. one year either side

when 'require exact match' IS CHECKED it means it will ONLY target those exactly between 23 and 27 in your example...

    hope that helps
