Actually, those are US numbers and the one number is one digit short, whereas the fax is very suspicious.

I see, it makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the owner let it go down, pushing down all his customers.

It's weird, cause normally developers tend to keep these domain/hosting accounts on the safe side to avoid any problems.

Mine are both doing the same thing! I'm so glad you posted this otherwise I wouldn't have known. Well I guess later today when I went to update things in there I would have.

The other day the one site I host with them went down for a little while, along with their support center. Don't know if this is related or not.

Now the support site just shows a message that they've been suspended by their host.

Kim told me about an hour ago that she Skyped Anthony to give him a "heads-up" in case he didn't know. I have the same problem. Members can still access the site, but I can't get into the Admin page to update anything. This has got to get taken care of today!!! --Mike

LOL. I called one Anthony Hull in Cheshire. He's a carpet cleaner. Sounded a bit put out that I thought he might also do software. I guess the only software in his life is a plush carpet.

I've tried the numbers John Taylor posted, but one comes up invalid in Skype and the mobile rings one long ring and then says "busy". Maybe a UK member could try those numbers:

The mobile just doesn't work.

Thanks for the heads up and the call.

If you are affected by this, the first thing that I would do is get your site secured.

Put the site in Maintenance Mode or grab a plugin that will password protect your directories.

The scary thing about this is that your content might be exposed to search engines, etc...

Michael,

This is a WordPress plugin correct?

If so, just FTP into the site and go to the wp-content/plugins/ directory and rename the plugin folder.

Then you should be able to access the blog and put it in Maintenance Mode.

I've found an email addy for Debbie his admin (I'm hoping its still one that can reach her), and fired one off. Keep your fingers crossed its solvable soon

I know Anthony is usually excellent with support etc, plus I can't see him letting anything happen to EMP, I'm just hoping everything is ok with him.

I've spoken to Debs and she says she thinks it could be due to an expired card or something with his hosting, she's emailed him and is awaitng a reply.

It's probably not much help to many people but she says that members etc will still be able to login, apparently its just the admin side folks cant access.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I have absolutely nothing to do with EMP anymore
