How will you compare Google +1 and Facebook?

As every one is exiceted to join Google +1 and some of us will already got their Google Plus profile. But do you know, how the +1 will work in comparision of Facebook.

Here our SMO team confuse, some think "Google +1" is similar to "facebook like" and other think it same as "facebook share".

Please share your opinion on Google +1 comparison with Facebook.
Google +1 is very similar to:
a). Facebook Like
b). Facebook Share
c). Can't compare Google +1 with facebook.

Any other help will be very appriciated.

+1 is similar to "Like." It's the Buzz button which is similar to "Share."

I believe google plus project is much nearer to Facebook and in direct competition than +1.

Well, Google Plus is a lot like Facebook only without all the users.

I believe google can't bit facebook like button because facebook is social network and it is viral.. Google does not have viral option.. they depend on search engine so I believe facebook is powerful than Google..

Yes but google have a social networking site that i think has already been launched called "circles" and i believe they will integrate the +1 button with it

The +1 is definitely a like. You can even substitute "like" for the tagline they use for +1.

"Like this article? Give it a +1".

It essentially reads as: "Like this article? LIKE it".

Can't compare Google + 1 to Facebook Like or Share, because although their functionality may look similar, google perspective is oriented towards a search relevance objective, while Facebook perspective is a social one.

It's so cute that you think these are different things.

I'd say Google's perspective had shifted to social.

P.S. The +1 Button > Like Button because the +1 button affects social search results (results that you see when you're logged into Google).

Zuckerberg apparently just signed for a google+1 account and ranks #1 having the most number of fans. Just wondering what this means or what his next move will be
