Hi I want to start promoting some products.

I want to know some tips on how to start as a affiliate marketing on clickbank.

      An often overlooked place when trying to learn about something is the place itself.

      Have you been through the Clickbank site and checked out the resources there?

      You wouldn't be the first to miss the obvious.
      I spent plenty of cash learning about Adwords only to realise the best place was within my Adwords account. I probably wouldn't have had my account suspended if I had paid more attention.

      If you want to pay to learn about Clickbank, you just need to do a quick search and you will find loads of free and paid sites giving you information about Clickbank.

      My own personal advice would be to not promote the really popular stuff and stick to something with gravity no higher than 100/120.

      Find a product you would buy yourself, check if it is something people are looking for and preferably buy it first to see if it is worth promoting.

      You could then do a review of the product and promote it that way.
      If it turns out to be rubbish, get a refund.

      Obviously, there are plenty of other ways and as Alexa pointed out there is another thread with more tips.

    While I don't promote digital products like on Clickbank I feel I am very experienced with the affiliate marketing gig. And where did I learn the ins and outs?

    Welcome to the largest FREE resource on internet marketing in the world. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that. Everything you could possibly imagine has been discussed here at least one hundred times, maybe even thousands depending on the topic.

    Don't limit yourself to just Clickbank. Many physical product merchants offer good commissions on the most popular products available on the internet. Commission Junction, ShareASale, PepperJam and LinkShare are several of the most popular places to sign for an account and get started.

    Remember that no matter what you are selling or promoting there is one "secret" that nearly guarantees success. That "secret" is after discovering a market, seek out a product to promote that the market desperately wants or needs and you WILL make sales.

    List building is also crucial. Don't be like me. I waited for nearly a year before I learned the importance of such a list. I don't even have to worry about my search engine rankings for my website anymore, because my list is very responsive.

    Well, first you have to understand people like to over-complicate this. They're going to tell you to build a list, seo it, paid traffic. And, their all viable options but take it from me when your first starting out its REALLY!!! confusing.

    The best thing you can do for yourself is to keep it simple, focus on these steps.

    1) Pick a evergreen niche(forget IM for now)

    2) Pick a under the radar product with a great sales page

    3) Build a "sniper site" around one main keyword with at least 3,000 exact match searches per month. And, create 5 other pages targeting other related keywords with competition that isn't too dense.(plenty of free info, wso's, an products on how to build a sniper site)

    4) Optimize the on-page seo to perfection!

    5) create hub sites for each keyword targeted page and backlink it to your website. Then blast the hub site to kingdom come with every backlink you can find nonstop!!! We're talking 2000 backlinks a day and in 30 days time if you've choosen the right keywords you'll start getting those clickbank notifications.

    ^^^^I know I gave a basic description of what you need to do. But, this the plain & simple of it. Search for info only revolving around this blueprint and NOTHING else and you will make money. Over do it and risk being lost to info-overload forever.
