Webcam Issues?!

Ok..I know I need to upgrade to a better camera, but I bought a logitech c270 webcam. I plugged it into my laptop and it worked perfectly. The problem is that my laptop doesn't have enough "horsepower" to support camtasia for screen capture pip recording.

I have an older desktop that has plenty of "juice", so I tried to plug in play with it. But I can't get it to work. It recognizes the camera, shows its hooked up, passes usb tests, microphone works....everything works except it keeps saying its not connected in the logitech software.

Anyone have any ideas what I can check to find the issue?

    Anyone have any ideas what it could be? I have donwloaded different drivers, done several clean installs, and it is always the same problem. The PC recognizes the camera, but the software says the camera is not connected. Yet the software recognizes what kind of camera it is (model) and it recognizes when I unplug it and plug it back in.

    Anyone...Anyone?!
