Just For Today: Do This (BENEFICIAL)

I bet many of us here is resting for its New Year ..

But rather than just go on our merry making, i want to give you a good suggestion that will hopefully be beneficial for the next 364 days..

(If you may listen..)

...
take the time today to learn just ONE thing that you always wanted to do, but you always postponed doing..

For an example, i am a multimedia student, but somehow i managed to skip the whole design classes when i was in college to go and (*ahem) mingle with the nice ladies in the canteen... and regretting ever since.

Even though i do know how to operate Photoshop (tiny bit) but i never had the courage to actually do an ecover for my own books..

TODAY I AM ACTUALLY LEARNING HOW TO DO IT.. in fact i am in the middle of a break now after learning how to use those darn action scripts..

This doesnt mean that i will stop using my designers all together, but today marks the end of me go crying to them for the smallest thing in the world for my graphics..

What you are going to change?

p/s- i attached a namecard that i played around with.. Its a template that i worked on, but hey, i did the rest, if i can toot my own horns

Hey, Good Job..... Well first of all, here's wishing you and everyone here a very happy new year!!!!

You know reading your post made me realize that even I have left many things undone in my life. Just that day, I found my old guitar that I had bought on New year's eve 2005. I love music and wanted to be able to play at least one musical instrument in my life.

But alas!! Due to the work pressure and to a big extent my own laziness, that guitar is still lying in my room (probably cursing me for ruining his life). Your post has got me excited now. I think I will take those classes now.

Huh! good idea you shared here ...i tell u i tends to be in your kind of shoe, but i would i tell you what you talked about here has really boost my courage to dwell on what i most find interesting to me to do ..

That's real easy on the eye, nice and clean

Not sure what the design specialist types would say either way but looks good

Most importantly...as you've just experienced, sometimes the best thing is to just go and do it (whatever it is - you know that thing you've been putting off ;-)
