Just some thoughts today - for you old skool buggers ;)
Do you folks find that internet marketing was easier back then, than it is now? I was sitting here today and thinking, yeah I paid way too much money for a domain ($140 per yr, per name) and hosting back then ... and well I learned how to design my own sites, book covers etc. I sent out an ezine every few days, made sure my site was updates, autoresponders worked .. yadda, yadda .. simple stuff ...
Now I basically pay peanuts for that stuff and have 10 bazillion web sites (I'm exaggerating), fan groups, fan pages, twitter accounts, LinkedIn and the rest of it. I had MSN, ICQ and a telephone, now we've got chat this, chat that etc.
And made serious bank, just using those simple things.
Do you folks miss the simple days of yester year or no?
