How was this Sales Page made?

Hi there,

I just came across this sales page by Russell Brunson and I have to say it's really awesome.

But one question remains - how did he make it? It's not with Optimizepress is it? Because I can see a lot of things I would like to emulate

Underachiever

Thanks

By viewing the source code you can see that it's not a WordPress site, it's straight HTML. So it could have been made with any HTML site maker, something like Dreamweaver.

It really is a nice looking page! I wish my design skills were up to making something like that!

    Hi

Have you considered simply asking him, worse he can do is not answer or say no.

That is a very nice looking site. I agree with nevisian, you should just ask the guy i think he would be more than happy to let you know. But by looking at it i think he may have used dreamweaver or similar design program.

That is how a sales page should look. Put's those ass ugly designs to shame. Bit too long in my opinion but Russel makes more money than I do so who am I to argue or nitpick.

Writing a page like that is actually pretty simple, it's the photoshop magic that has you all gaga over it.

How can you make a site like that? Use anything you want. You could do it with notepad, dreamweaver or wordpress. The tools are irrelevant, it's knowing how to use them that matters.

Those non pausible/stoppable videos drive me crazy, especially when you can't tell how long they are. I usually end up just muting my speakers so I can read the site.

Yes, Russell generally does a good job with his sales pages. He does employ a ton of people to create his products, sales pages, backend sales so my guess would be if you are willing to pay a high priced designer you should be able to accomplish something similar.

Having said that, and while being impressed with the extent of the sales page (too long - maybe) I would be interested in learning what exactly you thought was so impressive about the page? What parts did you feel would move a visitor to action or cause them to buy? Other than the graphics which seem to "jump out of the side" I don't really see anything all that extraordinary. In fact I tended to feel that some of the titles were too large and overwhelming. For me, they seemed to break up the flow and made me feel as though I was being shouted at. That is just my opinion and certainly I am not dissing the page or Russell's work in any way.

I believe you can replicate the looks by using Adobe Dreamweaver and photoshop.

The graphics part looks nice and professional and this part requires a certain degree of designing knowledge to space it out in such a way it looks well placed on the salesletter.

If you do not have any designing skills......yet, I would suggest taking a shortcut method by buying a ready made professionally designed HTML and CSS template.

It won't cost you much, say around $15-$30, then you can hire a web designer to tweak it to your own desire. And because you already have the base design, they might be able to do it for you for only $15 in around a few hours.

I would normally go to Themeforest site templates:
    single page - files - ThemeForest[site-templates]=1

Go through the designs and find something that I find will suit best for the project that I am doing, then I purchased it and try my hand on it. If I find it beyond my level of expertise, then I would just get a designer to do it for me as mentioned earlier.

Btw...I noticed more and more sales letters are adopting the 2.0 wide look...width around 900px as opposed to the old 650-800px to fit in smaller resolution monitors....I guess 800by640 monitors might be getting obsolete these days.

...P.S. Btw...I forgot to mention, that a web developer introduced me to Firefox's Firebug plugin and it has became one of the most used firefox plugin on my browser.

You can virtually tear down a sales page like that and take a look at the codings, while tweaking it and seeing a preview of how the css codes effect the design and layout.

      Good question!

I think because it stands out from the crowd and it is so very nicely put together. I like the graphics, the background. It gives a very professional impression.

It would be interesting to know what it converts at.

Thank you for your offer, I may look into it. I will however look into fireworks.

I don't have the desire to learn design to that level. I'll stick to optimizepress in that case

      Cheers!

What's slightly amusing about that site, he's using an unlicensed (not for commercial use) version of jwplayer. Either that of somebody forgot to turn off the jwplayer watermark.

Somebody wanna give him a ring and remind him to cough-up the $80
