How do you check all your sites for hacking?
I was just visiting one of my favorite brain teaser websites. I have visited this site every couple of days for years. There was one I couldn't figure out so I clicked on the link for the answer, and trouble started.
First the little Java icon showed up in the toolbar which has always been bad news for me in the past. Browser windows started opening and I got an AVG warning that it had just blocked the BlackHole.Exploit virus. After 2 bad virus infections this year I now run everything in Sandboxie. I opened the Sandboxie control and terminated all the programs and deleted everything in the Sandbox. Everything looks back to normal now.
I just did a search for the BlackHole.Exploit virus and it looks pretty bad. The news article also mentioned some hackers have released a script that will automatically install it on vulnerable websites.
I have around 80 different websites in different niches, some I haven't visited in months.
Does anyone know of a way to check your websites without visiting every one of them every day?
