Looking for best Affiliate Guide

Ok, part of my '09 goals is to become wll versed in affiliate marketing. This is the one area of IM that I have blown off over the years, but probably the most interesting to me. In the past it has not fit into my business model, so I have ignored it.

My current business(s) are pretty much self sufficient or I have staff to help run it(at least my offline biz anyway).

So, what I am looking for is a product or guide that people feel is the best and most in depth in regards to affiliate marketing. I plan on researching and testing of course, but I also know that the right product can shave time and help in many ways. I am looking for something that deals not exclusively with info products, but would inlcude Physical products, CPA,CPC,PPC etc, the whole gamut.

I know there is no magic product or system and it is what I make of it, how much effort I put in, and how it fit's in with my own skills. I just am completely ignorant in regards to what would be a good starting point as far as products go. I self admittedly ignorant in this arena, so any input or opinions would be most welcome.

I won't hold anyone to it, I am just trying to get a head start. Please don't turn this into a pimp-fest trying to sell me YOUR product. If your product is that damn good someone else will recommend it.

Thanks in advance,
keith

I use bits and pieces from the Black Ink Project, Info Product Killer and Commission Blueprint, as well as Chris Rempel's Lazy Affiliate but am not aware of an a-z guide.

I also found Chris Rempel's Lazy Affiliate to be one of the better ebooks. He has an entertaining style to his writing that makes it easy to keep going.

Does this Lazy Affiliate Ebook go into how to create websites for those that don't know how to do this? I am also interested in getting back into affiliate marketing and getting cheap and/or free traffic. I did PPC affiliate marketing a while back and made a few thousand, but I only broke even or spent a little more than what I was making usually, so it wasn't worth it and I quit, but I know there's gotta be a way to do it better and make profits with cheap and/or free traffic. Maybe I should buy this ebook then?
