The reason I ask is i've just purchased a domain name and wanted to know if it's any good.

I wont post it until i know if it's ok or not.

Sure, why not. It's not against the rules. The only reason someone might not want to do it is if would reveal their niche or something.

    OK thank you.

Well i got the domain name howtobedebtfree.net

Would this be a good domain name to try market or set up something ?

Or would it be best to try sell it to someone in the debt business ?

          Hi David,

The debt free niche is a good niche, but competitive.
You can try and sell it as it is, just make sure to put a minimum price you will accept.

A better option might be have an actual web site making some money, or at least getting traffic.

Install Google Analytics on it, add a product or affiliate product that you can sell and send targeted traffic to it.

This way you can provide some proof and get more profit.

I did what you said. I put a little few pages. and installed google Analytic.

I'll have to start doing a little back linking.

It's a high paying Adsense niche as well. Worth developing and backlinking and trying to get some traffic and revenue to. It has already been said, but it is a very competitive niche, but a good one.

As stated before it is a very profitable niche to be in but very competitive. I would try and put up a few adsese ads and a few affiliate products. You will have to get huge amount of backlinks though to get it ranked.

I know it's a massive market. I actually didn't plan on building a site. I thought i might get a quick sale on the domain name.

I put up a few pages.

The part i'm stuck at is back linking. This is really the 1st site i've done as a niche and I've never had to build back links.

Whats the best approach, How many back links would be needed roughly to start getting a few hits on the page ?

I know it will be alot of work. But any help would be nice.

    Thank you

Some backlinks like videos will probably drive some direct traffic, so that can be a good place to start.

Articles or press releases can work too- and if you really want to get crazy, you can try guest blogging to drive some traffic.

But if you're just trying to flip the domain name, Im guessing you can get like $20-$30 maybe? it'd be worth a lot more if you build a site first

Do you mean videos on youtube ? What would be in the videos ? I've never made one.

I've posted 1 article so far. Just getting around to writing more. Am i allowed put my link in articles ?

I've never done a press release, I have to read up on it.

This will be a slow case study for me lol. I think i started to big.!

I might try a smaller site at the same time because if i dont see results id be inclined to give up !
