hi,

how do you make youtube videos unclickable (meaning not go to youtube)?
i want to paste a youtube video on my static site and not make it clickbable so viewers will stay on my page instead of going to youtube.

    Great question, but as far as I KNOW, you can't (though I Hope somebody proves me wrong) - ..it's embedded by youtube, owned by youtube, etc.

    You can disable other videos from showing up at the END of the video (it's in the embed options), but I don't know if this is possible with YT vids...

      Hi BJ,

      If you're using wordpress I think there are a couple of plugins around that will do this for you. FLV Embed from memory is one of them.

      Alternatively you can upload the video as a file and just embed it form your own site. Not sure about youtubes TOS regarding this though. So read up first.

    Just get Traffic Player Advance by Mark Dulisse, It gives you a bunch of awesome skins and it takes out all youtube nonsense off of the video. There is a youtube logo but that's it.

    Here's the iframe code equivalent:

    <iframe class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="350" height="200" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/videocodenumber?rel=0&showinfo=0&allownetworking=i nternal" frameborder="0"></iframe>
