Paypal and IM products

PayPal has a rule against "get rich quick" schemes but how do they feel about the average IM product such as you might see at ClickBank? I'm aware that CB accepts PayPal, I'm talking about the average person selling their own product.

I believe, it is all in the disclaimer you use, ensure that you outline it is NOT a get rich quick scheme. Clearly state that results vary and that some people infact will not make a cent from the method/idea/report. Do not call it a scheme at all.

That's true but if you keep the hype out and dont mention earnings, then you are less likely to bet hit.

If PayPal went to the WSO forum, they would clean it up for us. :p

I use paypal exclusively but I'm currently familiarizing myself with the alternatives just in case I need to make a quick transition. As stated above, Paypal seems to freeze accounts almost indiscriminately when it comes to IM-related businesses so its a good idea to keep a Plan B ready.

Yeah that is what I'm concerned about.

Good rule of thumb: Don't hype at all. Don't mention how much they can make.

Ask for a review before it goes live and before the order button is on it.

Something like "Easily Earn Killer Affiliate Income Faster Than the Pros", instead of "Earn $2K/Week Starting Today Using This Proprietary Affiliate Marketing System"?

I mean: What's "easy"? What's "killer"? What's "faster than the pros"? Who are those "pros"? Of course, I always recommend delivering what your product was developed for:

To help others solve their problems and satisfy their needs they can't solve nor satisfy on their own...

I have an account exec assigned to me. I think that's what they are called. I was told flat out... Don't make income claims like... You will make $10,000 a week following this plan!

If you are expecting a huge amount of money coming in in a small amount of time, it's best to call up paypal and give them a heads up... else they're gonna assume there's something funny going on and suspend your account

No, maybe $50 or $100 a day. Nothing crazy.
