Getting Back Facebook Page Name

Hi Everyone,

I created Facebook Page and mine desired name was available, but i errored setting this to mine account name rather than Fan Page. I terminated this account now. If this name will ever come available again ? If there is a way to contact Facebook and request the same ?

        Sorry, you have no chance of getting it back. Once you do stuff like that on Facebook it is forever. As far as I know anyway.

          ;-( ... even contacting Facebook will do nothing ? BTW whats the logic in holding a name forever, if account is terminated ?

      I was able to get back Page address i wanted. There was some login form on somewhere. I compiled and contacted FB, after couple of days i got reply from about my page address being allocated.

        That's truly surprising - woot to you! A business colleague of mine had to totally start over and lost 800 or so fans.

          In mine case, page was not owned by someone but was not allowing us given name bcos someone created by error and left there un used. We wrote them that this is our registered company name and no one using this page, so to give us. Luckily it worked.
