I just recieved an email from Jonathan regarding this site and I think he has a winner here.

What do you guys think about his mystery domain auction?

1 Domain Name. $0.01 Increments. $1,000,000 Target.

All he needs is a $147 bid on a domain worth $10,000 and he'll make over $1,000,000!?

I have seen the site as well. Initially thought of bidding just to get a back link to promote something.

It will be interesting to watch this site. If it works, well, this idea can expand to other areas.

Soon, we will see many copy cat system around like the 1 Million Pixel stuff

  I'll make a prediction here that Jon will make his $1 million. Think about it. Who won't pay $147 for $10,000? The question is, where will the bidding stop?

  Looks like a version of the penny auction sites. I believe there was some discussion recently in the UK about whether or not it is gambling. I think the decision was that it isn't.

I bought one also at just over a buck.

To reach the $100 bid mark Jon will need 10,000 bids. So far today he has over 150 with 99 days to go.
