Importing lists

Hi people, so I'm planning on buying a 12k AWeber list.

The trouble is that I'm going to receive the list in a excel format.

My question is,

What autoresponders can I use that will let me import the lists?

And should I buy the list?
I've been shown solid proof of earnings and clicks, and the list gets 500 per ad on average.

Is it safe for me to buy the list?

      Provided you have the same or very closely allied products to match the list, I don't see any reason not to buy it. And since it is Aweber, you could just call their customer service (877-293-2371) for assistance in getting the list imported.

    Sorry, but I can't add to the answer I gave yesterday when you asked the same thing in this thread. It seems, overall, that many people have already alerted you to all the risks of buying this, but you want to try it anyway. I still wish you good luck with it, even though I'm among the many here who wouldn't touch it, myself.

      I didn't realize this was a duplicate question from yesterday in which the OP stated it would be imported into autoresponders other than Aweber, from where the list originated. All commerical autoresponders require an opt-in, in which case you could lose 90% or more of the list. In my opinion, your only option is to contact Aweber directly for assistance. They do allow importing of previously established lists as long as it includes proof of opt-in ie the subscribers' ISP and a date stamp. However, the response of these subscribers to your offers is a completely separate marketing matter with unknowns that no one can definitively answer for you.

      This is not an option. iContact will not allow more than 500 imported emails to be sent within a 60 day period unless you have been with them for over 60 days. They also have a specific prohibition against purchased lists.
