Wordpress Sites Loading Slowly?

INTERNET MARKETING

Since the last update of Wordpress, all my
sites are loading slowly.

Is this being caused by a plug in not being compatible?

All advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

Do you have any optimizer/cache plugins? You should have some of this and reconfigure them.

It will also best to contact your hosting provider if they have any issues on there network.

It could also be a bug with the newer version of Wordpress. I never update until all my plugins catch up with the new updates.

Yes, I notice the same thing! Of course, I always have thought wp sites load slow.

Maybe your blog has high volume of traffic or maybe your theme but normally the number one culprit are plugins.

Try to install DB Cache Reloaded (not the old one)

99% of problems after upgrades are plugin related. WP 3.2 is a lot faster than previous versions, but there are still some things you can do to improve page load times, even after fixing your plugins. Here are some articles:

Consider hosting your WP blog on Amazon Cloud Server... It's cheaper and faster.

You definitely don't want to have too many plugins active (this will cause issues with slowness). You should also remove any inactive plugins that aren't being used.
