MixRank.com Stealing Your Campaigns???

I just read an article in TechCrunch about this new spy tool for Google Content Network called MixRank.

It's basically a huge database of text ads that appear in AdSense ads. You just put in an advertiser and it shows you all of their ads and headlines, and all of the sites their ads are appearing on...basically their entire campaign.

I was curious and typed in the domain of one of my money sites, and sure enough, my whole campaign showed up on my screen, right there for the taking.

That was pretty spooky...my whole campaign I spent thousands of dollars split testing is available right there online, for anyone to take for free and put into their own AdWords account.

The good thing is that it only has Content Network text ads for now, so if you're only running campaigns on search you should be OK.

They also don't have image ads, so some of my highest converting creatives are safe for now. But I'm sure they'll start tracking image ads eventually too.

If you're currently making money running ads on the AdWords Content Network, you need to search your money sites in there right now to see how much they know about you.

The worst part is that it's in free beta right now, so anyone can just sign up without paying anything and start lifting all of your ad copy and headlines.

So now I'm a little freaked out. Does anyone know more about this tool?

Should I be worried that my ad copy is going to get stolen and copied? How does it affect AdWords Content Network quality score if someone starts using the same headline and ad text ads, but with a different display URL? Could competitors using this tool hurt my campaigns?

Actually, if I were worried about my campaigns being stolen using this site, I sure wouldn't post it or mention it on a public Internet Marketing forum.

There's 2 ways to look at it-

    1) Something to fear because other marketers may find your stuff

    2) A tool for YOU to use to expand your current campaigns

Chances are most marketers dont know about it, you so can probably get a lot more out of Choice #2 than #1!

That means just constantly change it up! I wouldn't worry to much about it.
