List of web 2.0 sites that will delete your blogs

My blogs on myopera.com, blog.ca, and blog.co.uk were recently deleted because I had links in the article that I posted. Can anyone inform me about any other web 2.0 sites that will also delete my blog if my articles have any links in them? I don't want to waste time creating accounts on web 2.0 sites that will delete my blogs later on.

What do you mean by "they had links in them"? Were the links relevant to your content, or were they links to something forbidden by the site's TOS? Were they contextual links or not? MOST web 2.0 DON'T forbid a (limited) number of links....but, the assumption is that users will have read each site's TOS before actually using it....

Did you read their TOS? Was this forbidden by them?

Like everyone else, all of the links in my article were pointing to my money site. I just wanted to know if there are any other web 2.0 sites out there that do not want any articles that had links within the content such as myopera.com and blog.ca.

So, you were creating linkwheels? How hard were you hammering those sites? How many backlinks a day?

lol. Note that even the WF does not want affiliate links placed in sigs, just as many of the Web 2.0 properties do not allow links in the pages or articles. Your best bet is to just read the TOS of any sites you are interested in.

I definitely agree with her on that...read the tos for every web 2.0 you post on or that can really damage you in the long run.

All properties/sites that you do not own can (and will) delete your blogs.

Doesn't always happen, but it happens more than you may think.

That is why it is best to build YOUR sites that you own and not rely too heavily on 3rd parties.

Even post-panda, the reason why there is still some reliance on these these site--whether people realize it or not--is because of the inherent search engine authority that they can achieve by using them. My argument for their usage has been focused around the idea that there are very few things in life that are void of risk--just like investing, if you do it right, with the correct research, you can reap HUGE rewards from using those sites...and, near instantaneously, as well. Use them in conjunction with your own site.
