Your Marketing Days Are Shorter Than You Think. Evidence Inside.

Hi Warriors

I'll cut straight to the chase as time is short people as I'll show below.

I was watching an inspiring interview with an Aussie War Digger Yesterday that made apparent to me that my marketing days are much shorter than i realized.

Now amongst what are the obvious valiant efforts that he and many others had also done in defense of their freedom & stories of times of old, this Digger said something that really made me sit up and think.

How could an Old War Digger have anything to do with marketing You may ask ?

Well within the interview the War Veteran was asked what he had learned from his time on earth ? And his beginning couple of sentences hit me square between the marketing eyes !!!

What were they ?

He said to the interviewer " I am 83 years old and been on this planet for a total of 30,295 days And I have learnt etc etc "

WHOOAA What got me was 30,295 days, when you look at your marketing days left it does not seem so many does it, well it doesn't to me anyway, and hey who says I'll even be lucky enough to live to 83 like that great man !!!

All of a sudden a kind of countdown clock wanted to start ticking I thought.

It really bought home to me two age-old sayings.

1. Nothing Good Lasts Forever i.e( making money from marketing ;-) )

2. Life really truly is SHORT ( make the most of what You got )

The Old War Veterans words made me re-evaluate my marketing plans, & re-write a new plan that now firmly states DO-NOT put off what You could do today until tomorrow.

Your Marketing Days are Numbered !

To Your Success

Cheers

...if only you'd named this thread:

"...Kevin Riley, You Only Have 10,267 Days Left To Finish The Damn Recipe!"

It would've been a winner tonight!

As it is, I'm glad at least I read it...it's made me think.

    Cheers,

        What a useless JUNK

30k days is not little, you do not live to work you work to live, so if you suddenly realised that you have such a short time you would want to get away from what you are doing rather than be inspired to do more of what you are.......meh

          Hi Jason,

It was an observation I made and certainly everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I am inspired and the interview simply inspired Me to do more.

Thought it might do the same for others.

          Cheers

              Hi Dallas,

Most certainly not Buddy, thats the sheer beauty of a forum environment, I can say something and You can be sure that people will agree & disagree. And thats Great in my eyes anyway.

Everybody has a different take on what someone will say. I'm just happy if one person can gain or see something from it.

              Cheers Dallas

I lived near a cemetery . . . Indeed, many of them have been there much longer than the length of their lives!

Yea, but one day you will be reduced to learning things like how many times a day you soil yourself.

My old Mum used to say "The Older You Get, The Faster The Time Goes By".

I always thought she was bonkers.

Now at 57 and getting 'older' all the time, i realise just how RIGHT she was.

You think time flies past FAST when you're in your thirties?

Just wait 'till you hit 50+.

Not trying to spoil the party here, but original post was spot on.
That old clock just keeps on ticking in a merciless fashion.

          Pete.

            Hi Guys,

The saying "Life is Short" is one of the most annoying phrases that I hear repeated so often.

            Life is Life.

You could say that someone who lives for 50 years had a short life relatively compared to someone who lived for 80 years.

But ultimately life in general is short in comparison to what?

However, for the whole "Life Is Short" thing is just another pretty silly saying of which there are far too many out there already.

Well if you look at the glass as half full, I think that the ticking clock wouldn't look so bad...
If you said WHOOAA, he had 43,624,800 seconds already.....he shoulda been outta here long time....

Count life in seconds...it seems longer....

    Cheers
