EZA is the biggest. GoArticles is in the top 4.

Others in the top 4 are: ArticlesBase and IdeaMarketers.

If article marketing is not working for you after using EZA and Go Articles, then maybe article marketing is not right for you.

Well, the more sites you submit, the better results will be. Also results depends on the content and time.

Hey if you're looking for getting your instant approved article ranks in google , then you'll find it OK with goarticles. It works for me, just do some lil backlinks, I'm sure you'll do just fine with it.

What main purpose does article submission serve for you? Back links or redirecting people to your website? Personally I find that you would be better served adding more quality content to your actual site. Article marketing is DEAD!

Zilvinas, with respect, that strange list is a mixture of article directories and other sites which aren't article directories at all.

There's one on your list that doesn't even accept any external links at all, now, so it has absolutely no value to any kind of "article marketing".

Sorry to sound so dismissive, but this is really unhelpful to people.

Not quite (in fact not at all - many of us make a full-time living and have expanding businesses based on article marketing!). What's dead is article directory marketing.

But as in so many of the conversations on this subject in this forum, everyone's already talking at cross purposes because half the participants in the discussion don't know the difference between the two, and half don't know what an article directory is and why they exist.

You do realize you can create your own article directory & get more than 3 views per month?

That EZA page is still a PR0 (at best), anyone can do that without supplying external sites with free content.

Your just paying their bills, by posting your content on their site.

It is working for me that is why i am looking for more sites like eza. I said goarticles dint work for me.

I added the article and even a month later i saw nothing from goarticles. initially i thought it must still be in draft mode or something but that wasn't the case.

That EZA page is still a PR0 (at best), anyone can do that without suppling external sites with free content.

Ya but a link back still helps in ranking - PR0 or PRwhatever

About 100,000 of those backlinks are worth the same to me as one backlink from a relevant authority site. Have a look in any standard, orthodox, widely respected SEO textbook and you'll see why. If you really think that those backlinks will still help you to rank a site in Google and get organic traffic, then either you have a keyword nobody else has ever heard of, or you've just decided not to become one of my competitors, for which I should be grateful, I suppose.

SEO is about quality and relevance, not about "numbers of backlinks".

About 100,000 of those backlinks are worth the same to me as one backlink from a relevant authority site. Have a look in any standard, orthodox, widely respected SEO textbook and you'll see why. Oh i thought eza was like an authority site.

Yup i have the exact domain name (.com) and i shud be ranking high anyways because the keyword is not that competitive but my site jumped from rank 12 to rank 3 by just 1 article submit tells me something.

I do a bit of seo myself. It is about quality and relevance PLUS "number of backlinks".

Sometimes it is not just the place you submit the article to but mostly 'the article you are submitting' What I mean to say is that I have articles in Ezine that get about 2,000 views so far, yet some that only gotten 30. Just keep trying to find a good topic that will get you more views.
I also use Squidoo and Hubpages as well as Articlesbase.

I'm afraid not. Far from it. EZA is nothing like an authority site at all!

I have a very high opinion of EZA, as article directories go, and I submit my work there nearly every day (after publishing it first on my own sites and having it indexed there, obviously), but I'm not doing it for EZA's backlinks!

However many or few views they get, unless your click-through rate is 100% (which nobody's is!), then you get fewer visitors to your site that way than you do by having all that traffic coming to your site in the first place, rather than going to EZA.

And that's an easy outcome to achieve.

When a potential customer finds one of my articles by putting one of its keywords into a search engine, the last thing I want him to find is an article directory copy. I'd lose most of my traffic that way, just as so many article directory marketers do. And then they show up here, making comments like "article marketing is dead"!!

What the hell.

I submitted an article to goarticles.com and when i search for the title 12 hrs later on google i find some other article site coming as the top result.

My Goarticles.com article isnt even there in the serps.

Worst part is that the other article site isnt even linking back.

I have contacted both goarticles.com and the other article site.

I will see what this other article site has to say about the violation or i will post about them over here and on my blog.
