With niches such as weight loss and making money online, it is easy to monetize the products, reports & articles for these topics since people are willing to pay for solutions and methods that these niches address. But for more personal niches, like hobbies such as paper plane collecting, what are the best ways to attack and monetize niches where there are not many digital products or other affiliate programs to promote on-topic products, but at the same time, a large online audience that actively seeks information on the product?

Creating your own product is an obvious answer, but going further than that, what kind of products do you Warriors create for such non-digital niches and how do you market it to a target audience that can find a lot of information on their hobbies, for free, with relative ease?

Thanks,

Jake

Forums and egroups are probably good starting points if you're trying to break into a hobby niche. Be aware, though, that unless you are an expert in the hobby you target, it's not likely that you'll be able to create an info-product for it. These online congregations usually are flush with their own homegrown experts.

    Hi Jake,

You can get more products from ebay.com and cj.com

About how to market to them, you need to know
    where do they mingle...

Some places are forums, groups (eg Facebook, Yahoo!),
offline places such as hobby clubs and so on.

On how to market, you need to know what do they
    need
...maybe cheaper alternatives to get their
tools and kits for their hobbies, tips on more designs
    for their art pieces....

all these can come in the form of
    blogs,
    reports,
    articles,
    videos and so on

    Hope it helps.

I recommend pushing affiliate offers from the major
craft and hobby sites. They are easy to google.
