Hey Everybody,

I just started using aweber and I am creating my first few follow up messages. What I wanted to know is how I can make my links look like:

http://aweber.com/hsbdfhsdfs73rei8wrouihsfh (you get the point lol)

instead of:

http:mydomain.com/go/recommend/

I see it many times when other marketers send me their emails but I just can't figure out how to do this.

Maybe someone can help. Thanks in advance.

What you are probably seeing with other marketers is that they using the "tracking" option with the links in their emails. When you see the"aweber" in the link it means the click is going to AWeber first so they can track it and then let you know how many clicks you are getting from your emails.

When you create your email in the AWeber form scroll down the page and you will see the "tracking" option. Click that and when your emails go out they will have that look you mentioned. They look awkward, but if you want analytics on your clicks you need to use that option.

Another way is to use an URL shortener such as budurl. You can get info on clicks through your account there as well.

Hope that's what you mean. Good luck! --Mike
