I am New to WordPress Blogging... Have a Question :)

So I am sitting here writing posts to my new blog which I have all set up on a domain of mine. It looks great and I have a few posts now. I was just wondering why they are not being indexed in the search engines. Does anyone have any ideas, maybe what can speed up that process, or anything. Like I said I am new to wordpress blogging so anything would help me out. Thank you.

    Hi Wade,

How long has your blog been up? It usually takes a week or two to get indexed. Also, do your blog posts have your targeted keywords in the title?

      Wade

There are ways to get your blog indexed a bit quicker but adding lots of good content over 6 - 8 weeks is foolproof. make good use of keywords and use them in your titles and description.

      To your success

Hi their, I would recomend you if your blogs run on the wordpress platform install the All In One SEO plugin and optimize every post with it. Other install sitemap plugin and submit to google webmasters.

With just those to plugins my blogs get indexed in less than 24 hours after they are setup

Sorry guys one more question... I have noticed in many blogs that people show how many RSS subscribers they actively have on their page... how do I do that? example: Internet Business Blog - Entrepreneurs-Journey.com by Yaro Starak

    Thanks again.

I wouldn't worry about this for the first 6 months.

The stats might stop you posting

yaro is a master blogger so you need to have a great deal of posts to be worrying about these sorts of stats
