Question About Blog Commenting

Hi guys I have a question for you.

As we all know that if we comment on blogs it creates a backlink...but what if other comment on your blog will that also create a backlink for us?

    I think you only get a backlink if you post a comment and your link on another person's blog

    That is correct that it is your comment somewhere else with your link in your comment that will be backlinking to your blog. That persons comment is creating a backlink for themselves.

    It depends if the links you generate have the "nofollow" tag in it or not. If it does, then it doesn't pass on the link juice.

      There are a few reasons to make a blog comment.

      1. Just do it to contribute to the dialogue. Don't do it for the "backlink" do it for the visibility. If you write an intelligent response or reply in the dialogue, people will feel more like checking out your site, since you took time and did not spam.

      2. Many blog comments make links NO FOLLOW - so the links won't count for anything.

      3. Other blog do have follow links and so it helps get more backlinks.

      I found gaming systems to just post to only get a backlink ended up rather shallow. But I also found taking just a few minutes to post a real heartfelt reponse to the posters or other commenters and joining the dialogue, then offering my links in signatures "felt better" and did more for my credibility.

    Don't commenting on blog just to get backlink, if that is your intention for doing it, do it wisely contribute to the topic that being discussed dont go off topic or else blog owner might delete your post.

      Think of a backlink as a link back to your website.

      If you think of it like that, you'll see that you don't get a backlink from someone commenting on your site because they're already there (ie on your website), if that makes sense. The link juice from the backlink they place on your website would go to their website (if it's a dofollow, as opposed to a nofollow, but that's a separate issue).

      A backlink is usually a link from an external site to yours.

      There is also internal linking, but that's different and something you do yourself, to interlink your pages within your website.

    I am commenting on some blogs but I think these blogs are using no follow so commenting on these blogs is of no use for me.I am reading a lot about building backlinks and I think that participating in internet marketing forums is a better way to build backlinks.If you know about any other good IM forum then please tell me
