hi i am almost a newbie in IM out there to make few bucks just found a domain which according to me can make me good bucks .by selling it . i am looking for any honest and dependable fellow warrior who can suggest me is this domain worth buying or not as i am not posting name here to save my idea from being snatched ..my budget is very tight so i cant decide to buy it or not ..can any one help me with it ? please can some one help me with deciding should i buy this domain or not ? please if you are willing to help post reply and i will give my contact details .so we can talk about it . will appreciate if some one can help me with suggesting is this domain worth buying or not

During my research i noticed that same domain with .com is listed for sale on a website for $1,695 . domain i have found is with .co.uk TLD

Unless it is something truly special I wouldn't mess around with a .co.uk. Just keep trying and you'll find a good .com. I know most of them are taken but sometimes you can find a winner. Beside that, a .com is far more valuable than the identical .co.uk so while the .com might be worth $1695, the .co.uk is likely worth only a tiny fraction of that. Just keep looking, you'll find something good.

  Keen is right it worth what ever you can get for it. But if you are dreaming of a big payday there are some things you should consider. First what type of marker would buy it – does it belong to a profitable niche? Second if the character count exceeds 24 then not many will buy it – especially no one who does PPC. Third does it contain a good keyword? In other words are a lot of folks searching it and if they are, is there a lot of adword ads to indicate that it’s probably profitable for them to use the keyword. Fourth, how many people will really be looking to buy a uk domain?

  My guess is you read about the "new .co" domains somewhere - you registered one.
  
  But the quote above went off the tracks - what a domain is "listed for" means nothing. There are multiple "check the worth of your domain" sites designed to lead you into paying for an appraisal. No website tool knows what that domain is worth.
  
  You got the right answer - any domain is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Until you try to sell it - you won't know how much that is.
