I Want To Learn, but Where Do I Start?

I am basically a complete beginner when it comes to internet marketing, and I've been doing some research, but I'm pretty overwhelmed with everything at this point.
Back in April, I dabbed into affiliate marketing without any experience and without a clue with what I was doing. I started to promote an online poker site because I wanted to fund my account without depositing. I didn't expect much, and I really only wanted around 20 bucks so I could play a little.
So, I gave it a shot, and I actually made some decent money. (At least it was to me , a broke 18 year old ) I started the 18th of April and made 40 bucks that month. In May, I made just about $200. In June, I was up to $285, and so far in July I've made 70. This income is now completely passive, I haven't done a thing since early May. I put some of the money into my poker account, but I haven't touched the majority of it. Around $500. This is money I plan to invest into internet marketing.
After I made this money, I was completely intrigued with internet marketing and I wanted to learn more about it.
I stumbled apon the Warrior forum last month after I had started working on fiverr. I wanted to make some quick money with it, And a few google searches led me to some Warrior members WSO. I didn't buy any, but I was tempted. On Fiverr, I've only done graphics work, which is time consuming, and not really worth the effort. I looked into some automated systems, but never really figured it out.
Now my focus has shifted to websites. I want to build a few from scratch, something I have never done, and create a solid amount of passive income. My bigger plan is to Flip websites, but I think building my own successful sites first will help me learn a lot before I get involved with flipping..
My basic plan is to buy a domain, get hosting, then install word press, and then I'll create the content and graphics for the site on my own, but I have no clue how to do any of the SEO work. I know this is the key to making money, and that's why I'm here.
I know what I have to do, I just don't know how to do it. I've read so many times you need to create back links, you need to optimize your content with kew words. I just don't know where to start with all that.
So, where would you suggest I start learning some SEO. I don't mind purchasing ebooks because I have the money I made through my affiliate account to buy them.
