How to host your videos FREE and keep them from being copied or shared.

I learned how to do this yesterday and thought it would be worth sharing.

I've been trying to figure a way to upload videos to a web page that cannot be shared without hosting them myself or paying to host them. YouTube is impossible when it comes to video protection and until I figured this out, Facebook always allows others to copy the code or share your videos to their pages.

You can upload your video to your facebook page and then copy the code to put on any page. You then go in and delete the post and make sure the video TAB is disabled in the left sidebar.

Now your video will show anywhere you place the code but the share button will not function. I just did this with a 4th of July Video I shot in our small town here. The owner of the Jewelry store asked me to make it for him but he wanted exclusive rights to show it and did not want anyone coping it.

You can see what I'm talking about at https://Facebook.com/christopherandcojewelry

This is a local business here in the valley and not my stuff...I just built the site for him.

Enjoy...
