What resources / techniques are available for those on little to no budget?

I am just curious what ebooks, techniques, tips, programs, etc... are available to those who are new to IM, but have little to no monthly budget set aside to pay for it.

I see plenty of great ebooks, services, programs but often for $30 monthly fees, etc... I would love to hop on that, but I can't afford it right now. Maybe after a little bit of the gravy comes rolling in I can, but I need something nearly free that can jump start me into the IM world. Even if its just to make me $100 / month...that is something.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bryan

    Hi,

You can easily make $100 a month with just the info you learn in the free parts of the Warrior Forum.

    Hey Bryan,

it's super easy to build your business with little or no money. Don't get me wrong, to really make money, you have to put money into your business, but if you are just trying to get off the ground, you can sign up to different forums and social networks and start conversing with people with the same interests.

But just look around, what all these people are doing, posting, advertising, they are doing it for free on here, and people are making REAL money. Just watch and try to mingle with the locals, and you'll learn how to do it. If you need more info, just let me know.

    Bryan,

What's great about IM is you don't even need one cent to get started! Sign up as an affiliate at clickbank.com. Get a blogger blog to promote products... Google stuff and read WarriorForum like crazy. You can make your first sale sooner than you think. When the money starts rolling in, maybe some of those monthly membership sites might help you out. Your mileage may vary.

I specialize in software development, so I have personally bought dead tree books and ebooks with that slant. Good luck!

You can do a lot with little money. I would suggest promoting products with blogger blogs and possibly article marketing. But once you started bringing in an income I would definitely invest in your own domain website package. The monthly fees are small and you can host unlimited domains. Also this gives you the ability to not only look a bit more professional but you can sell your websites.

      Thanks Linm,

Yea, I didn't really make the connection of finding clickbank products, getting an affiliate account with each of those products, and then promoting them.

Since I am a webdesigner/developer I actually have a host that gives me unlimited domains...so I am good there. I use dreamhost...and though not the fastest host in the world, it does give me lots of bells and whistles.

Yea, I need to look into article marketing as well.

      thanks!

If you really have zero money to get started with, do what I did to start funding (and I didn't know about article writing or anything)....

      1. Mystery Shopping -- nope, it's not IM, but it's not hard and you can get a couple hundred dollars pretty quickly (volition.com)

      2. ebay Info CDs -- I have a couple of public domain info CDs I created from archive.org up on ebay. I don't put much effort into creating or marketing them, but they make enough each month to cover my hosting fees and domain registrations

      3. Article Creation -- Associated Content pays up-front and they actually pay quickly once they accept an article. It's not raking in millions, but it's another source of mad-money.

Like Silent Jim says, multiple streams make a river.

So I have my clickbank account setup...and so if I am looking for products to help sell, etc... what particular "topics/categories" tend to me good starting places.

First thing that comes to mind, to be completely honest, are male enhancement products. They seem to be everywhere nowadays and I am sure plenty of sites online make a killing by promoting them, getting their products sold, etc..

has anyone here done those types of sites and if so, how successful have they been?

    thx

Having a Clickbank account is the first step. Good work. Now, think of something that you specialize in. For example, PHP? Find a PHP offering on the Clickbank marketplace and contact the owner and explain that you are an affiliate and ask for a free copy or some content so you can write a review on blogger and... ... hopefully turn your blogger traffic into conversions by way of your affiliate link. It really is just that easy.

But as with anything, it takes time. Keep working at it. You are on the right track.
