Dubious claims about a generic squeeze.

I don't want to be labeled a spammer, or anything so let me get this out of the way first...

I was looking for an effective squeeze page template and i came across "strategic profits": Want a squeeze page that gets 65% conversion?"

I needed a second opinion, maybe a third as well but it doesn't seem like this would convert well at all...it seems a bit...generic. Is that ALL it really needs to be or would i be wasting my time posting a site that looks like that.

Most video squeeze pages I see these days pretty much look like that.

65% though? Seems a lil' high, but depends on your traffic probably

Well there's the part i left out. The ones they send you in the email aren't actually the video templates that i saw at the top.

the best way to describe the ones that i ended up getting is:

classic huge red letters at the top with a pitch like "everything you know is wrong. A smaller subhead. Name and email off to the right. About 5-8 bullet points on why you should opt in and that's basically it.

That probably works well, but again dunno about 65%

But it REALLY depends on how much you presell the traffic, if its a desperate niche, etc.

People looking to buy a new power drill won't be as desperate as a guy trying to get a quick cash loan, a woman who can't get pregnant, etc.

The effectiveness of a squeeze page largely comes down to the quality of traffic.

We recently got a conversion rate of 80+% - which is nothing out of the ordinary, I've seen several Warriors get higher rates.

It's all about the traffic and the quality of your offer.
