How do Linkshare and shareasale compare to CJ?

Being relatively new I'm finding it hard to get applications accepted at CJ, I was wondering if alternative affiliate networks are less strict.

Shareasale and Linkshare are much better than CJ. CJ steals your money with CDR policy and also has account deactivation issues even if you made sales in past but not for 180 or so days. SEO changes all the time and so many sites stop working and hence it's hard to use CJ on such sites because less performance means booting out of network. CJ also has self proclaimed quality publishers criteria, they don't believe in performance based publishers. SAS and LS care for even small fish in pond and are open to them, they have no CDR and dormancy issues. I know some CJ fans are going to be pissed off at this reply but this is my opinion.

I agree with Mahesh 2K above, I have had better results with Share A Sale and Linkshare, as they have some great merchants who fit my niche well.

Success on CJ will depend on the types of products you are looking for.

I use all 3, because each one of them has different programs I promote. Personally, I like Share-A-Sale's affiliate interface the best, but which one is "best" really comes down to which one has the products/services that convert well in your niche. The one that's best for you will depend upon which advertisers you want to promote.

As far as CJ "stealing" your money with their CDR policy is concerned...If you haven't made a single sale in 6 months, why would you care if your account gets closed? You obviously weren't doing anything with it.
